TOUR OF THE SECRET VENICE, LEGENDS AND MYSTERIES (about 2 hours and half-3 hours)

Alessandra (holder of a degree and master in History of Art) will be your personal guide. You will discover the history of Venice, the fascinating lives of well-known venetian characters, history and legends. Get a real feel of Venetian life! You will be fascinated by secrets and mysterious itineraries of Ancient Venice, that are not so widely visited by tourists, monumental architectures, churches, palaces, masterpieces by famous venetian artists and narrow roads (calli in Italian). Their name (calle del pestrin, dei stagneri, de l’oca…) hides always a curious story. The walking tours start directly from our residence in Campiello del Remer, a small typical square ovelooking the Grand Canal. From our landing place you will admire the famous Rialto Bridge and you will listen to the amazing story of the foundation of Venice which was born directly from the water. During our walking tours we can have a walk towards Rialto Bridge, the birthplace of Marco Polo, the wonderful marble architecture of the Miracles church, the church of Saint Salvador where you can admire masterpieces by Titian, we can cross Rialto Bridge and stroll through the colourful Rialto market. If you prefer you can choose a special tour of mysteries and legends towards Saint Marc square. You will be fascinated by centuries of venetian art and history and you will enjoy listening to funny and curious venetian stories.
